Mario Mascioli is the founder and CEO of Acorn Built Homes, a premium residential design-build company serving homeowners throughout Chester and Montgomery Counties and surrounding areas, as well as Princeton, New Jersey.
Before founding Acorn, Mario spent more than 30 years in technology, including leadership roles with IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Microsoft. During his career, he led large, complex technology projects for major enterprise customers—experience that shaped his disciplined approach to operations, project execution, communication, and client service.
Mario founded Acorn Built Homes around a simple idea: homeowners undertaking significant residential projects deserve a better building experience. Acorn brings planning, design, engineering, permitting, and construction together through one coordinated process, giving homeowners a single team responsible for guiding the project from concept through completion.
Today, Mario leads a team of experienced residential design, engineering, pre-construction, and construction professionals specializing in major additions and conversions, whole-home and major remodels, accessory living spaces and ADUs, and select custom homes. His focus is on understanding what homeowners are ultimately trying to accomplish and ensuring that every project is approached with the planning, discipline, communication, and attention to detail that significant residential investments require.
When he’s not leading Acorn Built Homes, Mario enjoys spending time with his family, walking his two standard poodles, cycling, strength training, college football, and following Philadelphia sports.
